SIP Trunking (Inbound & Outbound)
Cloud PBX / Routing
SMS & 2-Way Messaging

This FUP ensures service quality, prevents abuse, and protects the stability of our global telecom network.
All customers (“you”, “your”) must comply with this FUP at all times.
Violating this FUP may result in traffic blocking, service limits, suspension, or termination.
1. PURPOSE OF THIS FUP
This Policy ensures:
Fair resource usage
Network reliability and protection
Compliance with international carrier rules
Prevention of fraudulent or excessive use
Equal access to all customers
Protection against service degradation
Tellimon services must be used responsibly and in line with global telecom regulations.
2. GENERAL FAIR USAGE PRINCIPLES
All usage must be:
Reasonable
Lawful
Consistent with typical business communications
Non-abusive
Non-excessive
Non-fraudulent
Any use that causes network strain, carrier blocking, or regulatory risk violates this FUP.
3. VOICE SERVICES FAIR USAGE
3.1 Call Volume & Pattern Restrictions
Tellimon may limit calls if:
CPS (Calls Per Second) exceeds plan limits
ASR (Answer Seizure Ratio) is unusually low
ACD (Average Call Duration) is abnormally short
Call attempts exceed normal human dialing behavior
Large bursts of calls are generated in short time frames
Examples of abusive behavior:
Dialing thousands of numbers in minutes
Predictive dialer activity without approval
Short calls (<3 seconds) repeated frequently
Traffic patterns resembling call blasting
3.2 Robocalls & Auto-Dialers
Robocalls, auto-dialers, predictive dialers, or outbound campaign tools require explicit approval.
Usage without approval violates this FUP.
3.3 Concurrent Calls
Concurrent call limits apply per plan.
Exceeding limits may result in:
Automatic blocking
Quality reduction
Temporary throttling
4. SMS & MESSAGING FAIR USAGE
4.1 SMS Volume & Rate Limits
Tellimon enforces:
Maximum SMS per second (SPS)
Daily volume thresholds
Anti-spam rate limiting
Carrier-specific throughput caps
Excessive bursts may trigger automatic throttling.
4.2 Content & Consent Requirements
To comply with carriers worldwide:
All SMS must be opt-in
Promotional SMS must follow local regulations
Sender IDs must be registered where required
SHAFT content (Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco) is limited or banned
Failure to follow content rules violates this FUP.
5. VIRTUAL NUMBER USAGE FAIR RULES
5.1 Local Presence Restrictions
Some countries require:
Local business registration
Local address proof
Local use case justification
You must comply with all number-specific rules.
5.2 Inbound Call Limitations
Inbound call volumes must be reasonable and consistent with standard business usage.
Examples of abuse:
Using DIDs for high-volume call center traffic without approval
Generating artificial inbound traffic
Traffic pumping
5.3 Number Reselling
Reselling numbers without explicit permission violates this FUP.
6. CPaaS & API FAIR USAGE
6.1 Rate Limits
API calls must not exceed plan limits.
Abuse includes:
Excessive API polling
Uncontrolled automation
High-frequency SMS/Voice API bursts
Using API to generate unauthorized high-volume traffic
6.2 Security
You must secure your API tokens.
If compromised:
Tellimon may suspend usage
You remain liable for traffic generated
7. FRAUD, MISUSE & UNUSUAL ACTIVITY
Tellimon monitors:
ASR/ACD anomalies
CPS spikes
SMS spam patterns
Traffic pumping
Spoofing attempts
Abnormal routing behavior
We may:
Limit service
Suspend traffic
Request additional documentation
Block suspicious routes
Terminate the account
8. NETWORK & SYSTEM PROTECTION
You must NOT:
Attack or overload Tellimon servers
Attempt unauthorized access
Run penetration tests without written approval
Use VoIP traffic to test firewalls or intrusion systems
Generate load that degrades network performance
9. UNLIMITED PLANS (IF APPLICABLE)
If Tellimon offers any “unlimited” plan:
Unlimited does NOT mean infinite
Usage must align with normal business patterns
Excessive, automated, or high-volume usage is restricted
Tellimon may reduce throughput or apply limits
10. SUSPENSION & ENFORCEMENT
Tellimon may take action without prior notice if you violate this FUP:
Immediate:
Block calling or SMS
Disable SIP trunks
Suspend services
Limit API throughput
Permanent:
Remove numbers
Terminate account
Report violations to carriers or regulators
Financial:
Pass through carrier fines
Charge penalties for fraudulent traffic
Recover losses from abusive usage
