📜 ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs all use of Tellimon’s telecommunications, virtual numbers, SIP trunking, SMS, CPaaS, cloud communications, and any related services (“Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP worldwide, regardless of your country or your customers’ countries.
Violation of this AUP may result in:
âś” Immediate suspension
âś” Blocking of traffic
âś” Permanent account termination
âś” Notification to telecom carriers or regulators
âś” Legal action where required
This AUP is enforced globally without exception.
1. PROHIBITED USES
You MUST NOT use Tellimon’s Services for any of the following activities, regardless of local law permissibility.
1.1 Illegal, Harmful, or Unlawful Activity
Strictly prohibited:
Fraud, impersonation, identity theft
Harassment, threats, abuse
Scams or deceptive practices
Bypass of telecom regulations
Falsifying identity or caller information
Interfering with emergency services
Terrorism or extremist activity
Violation of sanctions or export controls
1.2 High-Risk or Prohibited Industries
The following categories are strictly banned worldwide, even where locally legal:
Investment cold-calling & financial trading schemes
Crypto selling, token solicitations, crypto recovery fraud
Gambling, betting, or wagering
Adult content, escorting, adult entertainment
Lottery, sweepstakes, prize promotions
Multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes
Debt relief, payday loans, money lending solicitations
Narcotics, controlled substances, illegal pharmaceuticals
Spam-based marketing of any kind
Fake job offers, recruitment scams
1.3 Spam, Robocalling & Mass Messaging
The following are prohibited without exception:
Sending bulk unsolicited SMS
Sending SMS without opt-in
Robocalls without written consent
Auto-dialer spam or sequential dialing
Artificial traffic inflation (AIT)
Caller-ID spoofing or manipulation
Pre-recorded messages without permission
AI-generated calls without consent and compliance
Tellimon enforces zero tolerance for spam. Offenders will be terminated immediately.
1.4 Voice & SMS Content Restrictions
You may not transmit content that includes:
Threats, harassment, abuse
Hate speech, racism, discrimination
Defamation or slander
Political propaganda via unsolicited outreach
Medical misinformation
Illegal financial advice
Pornographic or explicit content
Personal data without consent
2. TELECOM & REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
Tellimon operates under global carrier-level regulations.
Customers must comply with all:
Local numbering rules
Emergency calling laws
Data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, PDPA, etc.)
KYC & proof-of-address requirements
Caller ID rules
National Do Not Call (DNC) registries
Anti-spam/anti-fraud measures
A2P messaging regulations
Traffic usage policies
Non-compliance will result in immediate suspension.
3. CALLING BEHAVIOR RULES
3.1 Outbound Calling Restrictions
You must NOT:
Generate predictive dialer traffic without approval
Perform rapid-fire or high-frequency short calls
Run dialers with high abandoned call rates
Use prerecorded ads without regulatory compliance
3.2 Abandoned Call Rules (Global Standard)
A call is considered abandoned if no agent responds within 2 seconds after the callee’s greeting.
Repeated violations may lead to blocking or account closure.
4. SMS & Messaging Rules
4.1 Consent Requirements
You MUST obtain explicit opt-in before sending SMS.
Examples:
Website form
Checkbox confirmation
SMS opt-in reply
Verified subscriber registration
4.2 Prohibited Messaging Content
Never send:
Unsolicited promotions
VPN proxy bypass links
Malware or phishing links
Fake brand or impersonation messages
SHAFT content (Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco) unless explicitly allowed by law & Tellimon
4.3 Sender ID Requirements
No spoofing
No misleading brand impersonation
Sender IDs must be approved where required (e.g., India, UAE, Saudi Arabia)
5. NUMBER USAGE & OWNERSHIP RULES
5.1 Local Regulations
Some numbers require:
Proof-of-address
Business registration
End-user identity
Use-case validation
You MUST provide accurate information.
5.2 Number Abuse
You may NOT:
Resell numbers without authorization
Use numbers for personal P2P calling when restricted
Use numbers violating geographic constraints
Avoid or bypass KYC requirements
5.3 Local Presence Requirements
Countries such as Germany, Japan, Brazil, and others may require local address verification.
Falsifying documents is grounds for immediate termination and legal action.
6. TRAFFIC QUALITY & ANTI-FRAUD RULES
Tellimon actively monitors:
ASR (Answer Seizure Ratio)
ACD (Average Call Duration)
CPS (Calls Per Second)
Traffic spikes
International routing patterns
If unusual or fraudulent behavior is detected:
Traffic may be blocked instantly
Account may be suspended without notice
Reports may be sent to regulators if required
7. SYSTEM USAGE & SECURITY
You may NOT:
Attempt to hack, bypass, or modify Tellimon services
Reverse engineer APIs
Interfere with our network or carriers
Use stolen credentials or access tokens
Share API keys publicly or insecurely
Tellimon may disable compromised keys immediately.
8. API USAGE LIMITATIONS
API use must be:
Lawful
Rate-limited within your plan
Non-abusive
Secure (HTTPS required)
Bots or scripts generating abusive calls or messages will be terminated.
9. ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS
Tellimon may take any of the following actions without prior notice:
Suspend numbers
Block inbound/outbound calls
Block SMS temporarily or permanently
Restrict access to API
Terminate your account
Report misuse to authorities
Charge penalties for fraudulent traffic (if applicable)
We reserve full discretion in interpreting violations.
10. REPORTING VIOLATIONS
If you detect abuse of Tellimon services, report it immediately:

11. CHANGES TO THIS AUP
Tellimon may update this AUP at any time.
Changes are effective upon publication.
